Brunch is a new meal recently added to my breakfast, lunch & dinner lineup. At times it’s even rotated in place of lunch on the weekends. I heard about Hearsay Gastro Lounge from friends who have fawned over their dinner and Happy Hour, but had no idea that they also have a really live and up beat brunch!!
When you walk in you are immediately at the hostess “corner,” – basically just a little lady in the corner with menus. We were blown away (literally) by the live band that was playing. Super loud for such a small space but that’s what brunch is all about! They have a lavish full bar that takes up the bulk of the first floor and a second floor over looking it all.
The menu toted a variety of “brunchy” Items from chicken and waffles and juicy burgers to crab cakes and lemon ricotta pancakes. They have a great beverage selection to choose from with unlimited mimosa’s for $12 until 2pm ($4 ea after 2pm), the Pink Delicious was interesting and the grapefruit juice kicked it up a notch!
We sat upstairs, where it’s even more intimate with maybe seating for 25-30 people. Great space for a private gathering. The dope part about the 2nd floor is that is has its own bar, which means you get your drinks faster.
Hearsay offers brunch Sunday from 11 am – 11pm with no waiting. This is important on Sunday’s as I learned the hard way while driving all over town looking for something to EAT!
