My lunch buddy and I decided to try Bistecca Italian Steakhouse for lunch after our original option fell through. This was hands down one of the best HRW lunch decisions we’ve made.
The menu consists of three perfectly portioned, hearty choices that are almost too good to share. The service was impeccable (ask for Reneé) and the restaurant itself is quite stunning. Not sure how or why I’ve never visited before. Possibly because I don’t care for Italian food and wasn’t quite sure what an Italian Steakhouse was, but I am so happy to have made Bistecca Italian Steakhouse a part of my HRW 2018 experience.
We met a few other folks for lunch, which allowed us to try Bistecca’s entire Houston Restaurant Weeks lunch menu. Everything that touched our lips was absolutely delicious.
⇒ My recommendation: Start with the house-made goat cheese & beet raviolo, follow it up with the Chicken Fried Steak and bring it home with the Six-Layer Chocolate Cake!
