Four Hands Wine Dinner at Carmelo’s Ristorante
Executive Chef Carmelo Mauro, Executive Chef and Owner at Carmelo’s Ristorante Italiano in Houston and Austin, and Chef Maurizio Ferrarese, Executive Chef at Quattro Ristorante at Four Seasons Houston have partnered to host an Italian Four Hands Wine Dinner on May 19, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Carmelo’s Ristorante Italiano in Houston.
With creations spanning from Chef Maurizio’s Risotto Carnaroli with Black Truffles and Duck to Chef Carmelo’s Organic Wagyu Tenderloin with Barolo demi-glace and mint vegetables, paired with some of Italy’s best wines, the evening promises to be an exquisite celebration of the Italian excellence from North to South. In fact, while Chef Carmelo Mauro who was born and raised in Sicily which is just off the toe of Italy’s boot, Guest Chef Maurizio Ferrarese was born and raised in Vercelli, in Italy’s Piedmont region.
“We are very excited to host this wine dinner with Chef Maurizio,” said Chef Carmelo Mauro, who is celebrating 35 years in business this year. “Our wine dinners are always a great success among our guests and a four hands wine dinner like this one brings together two Italian Chefs, their culinary styles and cultural heritages. What’s better than that to pay homage to the Bel Paese?”

Price per person is $125 per person (plus tax and gratuity).
